Today, when I was reading the article “Is the bouncer’s future in jeopardy?”(http://www.cricket.com.au/news/frank-tyson-michael-holding-discuss-future-bouncer/2014-12-08), based on the mishap that we had witnessed, where one of the bouncers of Sean Abbott - A right arm fast medium bowler from New south whales had struck in the neck ( seemingly well covered with helmet) of Phillip Hughes – A 26 year old and a left handed batsman from South Australia, causing the demise of supposedly an opener for Australia for the upcoming India’s tour of Australia in Test matches and its possible imposition on the current rules and restrictions of bowling bouncers, I thought this inquisition was on the cards considering the way very vibe has dispersed unprecedentedly.

It is quite shocking to see in this modern era of cricket, where every team literally has its own mentor, physician, doctor, etc. besides having team coach, where new things have been added in each player’s kit, where few old stuffs have been refurnished for the better cause, we can’t neglect the fact that still few things or rather places are left undiscovered here and there that need vigilance in exigency since we can ill effort to lose player’s like him who had a dream to play for his side or rather for his nation and who had just started to work upon his mistakes for making an re-entry into his team. It is quite bitter to hear when the ruthless aggression shown via such deliveries can kick the bucket and cause the misery.

However; I do believe that the incident like this could have been averted had the helmet used by late Mr. Hughes, provided by the ACB board committee and manufactured as per ICC’s protocols, created considering all kinds of rarest anomaly tested in the cricket labs , a tragedy like this could have been possibly evaded. I know, there are some things that only almighty have control over but still…

However, the person who would have experienced acerbity to the fullest from this tragedy has to be Mr. Abbott. When he was asked “ How does it feel when your deed unfortunately leads to the death of someone… someone from your own team and territory” . I thought he must had been in quandary whether to answer such tricky question or not beside feeling the loss. Because though that question was totally uncalled for, still there will be schadenfreude who loves to enjoy the agonizing pain of others. We need to understand that this was just a mishap where we can’t just indict him since it happened within the God’s precinct.

Finally, it is all about to move on with life and that applies to Mr. Abbott as well. He shouldn't carry a burden and a pressure, coerced by others who are there only to laugh at you. He must understand that bygones are bygones. There is no point contemplating on whether bowling bouncers should be given up or not since it doesn't make a sense. However, it was good to hear a response from him where he said he won’t give up on bowling bouncers since they are basically a part of tactical maneuvers of a game where abandoning it means letting the bowlers confine within their own jurisdiction. I know that the so called 13th player of team Australia against India for the 1st test will be missed forever and surely few regulations and changes will be done to make incidents like such to be almost zero, however I do believe that keeping the future of bouncers in jeopardy will ultimately  remind us the lose of not only Phillip but also that of aggressive tool i.e. Bouncers which will not be good for the future of Cricket.
